Skateboarding may seem relatively new to the sporting world, but it's been popular for decades. A new form of skating might feel like it's straight out of the future, but it's actually been around for much longer than people thought: electric skateboarding. These devices have actually been around since the 1960s!
But why electric? Why now? Essentially, the comeback can be attributed to three factors: the introduction of new electric vehicles, the rising popularity of long boarding and skating, and new legislation that actually accounts for motorized skating.
There are plenty of advantages of using Evolve's boards compared to traditional electric boars, too:
Most electric skateboards on the market can travel between 12 and 15 miles per hour, which isn't too bad at all. You can certainly get to where you need to go in a reasonable time with those speeds. Evolve's boards, on the other hand, are much, much faster. In fact, Evolve's Bamboo series and Carbon Street electric skateboards can reach speeds of up to 24 miles per hour -- wow!
Better Charging Rate
Average electric boards can hold a charge for approximately 10 miles. Evolve is anything but average, though, as their electric skateboards can hold a charge for much longer, allowing riders to skate electric for up to 30 miles.
Price, Safety, and Warranty
There are a few other advantages of using Evolve's boards, as well. For beginner skaters, you will be able to find an electric board around $200. These products are quite safe as well and even comes with a warranty of either six months or one year.
