Evolve Skateboard vs World's Steepest Street

This week we bring you an evolve Skateboards Challenge - to ride an evolve electric skateboard up the Worlds steepest street!

Jeff and Trav headed over to Dunedin, New Zealand to take on one of the toughest evolve challenges yet - to try and skate an evolve Carbon GT up Baldwin Street - the Worlds steepest street.

Some facts on Baldwin Street from Wikipedia: The 161.2 metre (529 ft) long top section climbs 47.2 metres (155 ft) vertically, an average gradient of 1:3.41. The slope of Baldwin Street is about 1:2.86 (35% gradient).

This week we bring you a series of pro riding tips to take your electric skateboarding to the next level! We cover riding tips as well as equipment choice and board set up.

In this video, our team will take you through their top tips on getting the most out of your Evolve electric skateboard ride including: turning, carving, accelerating and braking. Pierre (aka Samo), our French ambassador, shares his pro tips on carving and Justin (Evolve USA) will show you how to slide your Evolve electric skateboard like a pro. Nick will go through how to set your board up and which equipment to use depending on the type of ride you want.
